Do your emotions sometimes get the better of you?

Today more than ever, career advancement is based on how well you direct your emotional energy, express yourself, and manage people and situations. At the heart of every work and family conflict lies interpersonal effectiveness - the ability to manage yourself and your relationships.

The good news is that these are skills that, like learning to tie your shoes, program code, or write a coherent sentence, you can learn, practice, and get better at. Sometimes referred to as emotional intelligence, when you have it you feel better about yourself, and quality of life improves.

This energetic one-day workshop will help you:

  • Define emotional intelligence and increase your social competence
  • Learn to honor and use all of your emotions with intention and skill
  • Improve your sense of self-control
  • Communicate clearly and purposefully under stress
  • Work well with others

Join Ann Driscoll and Judy Ringer in this one-day workshop designed for skill building, practice, and fun. If you find yourself saying, "I can't believe I said that!" or "Why didn't I speak up?!" - treat yourself to a day of networking, learning, practice and change.
